Change the state code of conduct.
The public employee - according to the amendments to the Code approved in the last Council of Ministers - is prohibited from discriminatory behavior based on gender, nationality, ethnic origin, language, religion or belief, personal or political beliefs, belonging to a national minority, disability, social or health or frailty, age and sexual orientation
The measure, which integrates a deadline of the Pnrr, also prohibits
the sending of outrageous and discriminatory emails
, and even the use of social media must not harm the prestige or image of the administrations, which can be equipped with a "social media policy".
Furthermore, the management of public resources for carrying out the activities is expected to follow "a logic of cost containment and energy consumption, eco-sustainability and respect for the environment, which does not jeopardize the quality of the results of the administrative action".
The executives, as stated in the text presented to the Council of Ministers by the Minister for Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo, take care, "with the resources available, of organizational well-being", favor "the establishment of cordial and respectful relationships between collaborators", and they take care of "initiatives aimed at the circulation of information, the inclusion and enhancement of differences in gender, age and personal conditions".
"With the approval by the CDM of the revision of the Code of Conduct for public employees, we continue along the path traced for a reform of the PA that bases its efficiency on its human capital", comments the Minister for Public Administration, Paolo Zangrillo: "All together the Pa, central and territorial, as a strategic infrastructure for the development of the country, engaged in grounding the projects of the Pnrr, cannot disregard the right valorisation of people who work for the collective interest and their responsibility, as indispensable levers for the growth of the workers themselves and of the organizations".
