Organizations of the unemployed and precarious met on Saturday in Saint-Denis, on the occasion of an annual gathering.

Among the participants Laura, a 28-year-old doctoral student in geography, has been receiving unemployment benefits since August, after having worked for three years.

“I receive 1,100 euros in allowances”.

With 800 euros in rent for a roommate in Saint-Denis, he has “300 euros left to do the shopping.
