For the time being, nothing will change in Germany from the cloudy and gray weather of the past few days.
"The sea of clouds in the sky currently seems limitless and the weather situation is still stuck," said a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD).
According to this, a powerful high pressure area has settled over north-eastern Europe, which continues to send cold air from the east to Germany.
According to the DWD, the uniform gray will remain at least until Tuesday.
The reason: "There is simply a lack of movement in the atmosphere," says the expert.
In this way, the cloudy air that has been lying over Germany for days cannot be "cleared out."
It can get slippery at night
According to the DWD, temperatures will fluctuate around freezing in the coming days.
In the east and northeast there will be some drizzle or sleet in some areas on Sunday.
For the afternoon, the DWD also expects rain in the south and south-west.
Especially at night and at high altitudes, the roads can be slippery due to freezing wet and frost.
