Sarah Morgan's "Santa Sisters" is a prime example of what is meant by the term feel-good reading.
Especially in the cold season, many people like to curl up in a cozy blanket, with thick wool socks on their feet and a cup of tea in their hands.
What is still missing is the right book - and "The Time of the Christmas Sisters" is one that gets you perfectly in the Christmas spirit, increases the anticipation of the family celebration and provides good entertainment and distraction from the Christmas stress.
Husband and wife Suzanne and Stewart McBride are planning to celebrate Christmas with all three adopted daughters somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the Scottish Highlands.
While the adventurous Posy is the only one who stayed with her parents in Scotland, housewife Beth lives in New York with her husband and children and career woman Hannah.
Even though the characters are drawn in a rather clichéd way and the plot ripples along as expected, there is never a dull moment, because the story has a few twists to offer.
Exactly what you would expect from a winter feel-good book.
