Emergency blackouts in Kiev and in the entire region were announced today by the electricity company Dtek which specifies that it cannot follow the already planned power outages and that the technicians "are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation", as reported by Ukrinform.

Dtek director Dmytro Sakharuk said that it will be possible to return to stabilizing power outages only after the system's capacities are increased.
