Rescuer in need: Özgür Anli is sitting in a café with a friend and enjoying his tea.
He notices something on the other side of the street - and is deeply shocked.
Sitting carefree in a café, meeting friends, observing people or just reading the newspaper comfortably: Özgür Anli probably had that in mind too.
In mid-November he is sitting in a café in Turkey drinking a cup of tea with a friend.
But then he notices strange movements high up on the opposite side.
Something is wriggling under the fourth floor window and is about to fall.

Window seats are extremely popular with cats.

The man doesn't hesitate and jumps up immediately.
Because it is a cat that is fighting so desperately for its life.
And it's not just any one, it's his sister's.
Latte only clings to the windowsill, but his situation seems hopeless.
Özgür notices this and positions himself.

He told
The Dodo
: "I immediately went under the window.
I felt the cat would fall at that moment.” And he was to be right.
When the house tiger loses his strength, he falls down and for a brief moment it appears as if he would hit the ground.
But Özgür reflexively opens his arms, literally spreads them out and thus catches the little clumsy one.
The dramatic situation is captured by a surveillance camera.
When Özgür's sister finds out about this, she is close to tears and horrified that her beloved animal slipped and fell out of the window.
At the same time, she is immensely grateful to her brother for saving her.
"He's a hero," she says.
"We have now taken measures to ensure that something like this does not happen again."
