(ANSA) - KIEV, DECEMBER 04 - More than 500 Ukrainian towns are still without electricity following the Russian bombing in recent weeks which caused damage to the country's electricity grid, Deputy Interior Minister Yevgeny Yenin said on TV.
"The Russian military continues to attack the country's essential infrastructure. Currently 507 locations in eight regions of our country are cut off from the electricity grid," he said.
The governor of Mykolaiv Vitali Kim added: "we must resist", while several times a day power cuts plunge millions of Ukrainians into darkness and cold.
