A woman can't believe it when her peace lily dies.
She does the experiment - and puts them directly on the living room table in front of the television.
She is surprised what happens next.
Indoor plants are trendy: If you don't have a large garden, you can get some greenery in your own four walls this way.
Some are even quite easy to care for and are also suitable for novice growers.
The most popular include orchids, monstera and the poinsettia in the Advent season.
But there are apparently also divas among houseplants who are downright offended if you don't pay enough attention to them.
Peace lily first dies, then blossoms again when she is in front of the television
TikTok user Lily Pierce can sing a song about it.
She posted a video clip on the social video platform that caused laughs.
She has a peace lily (Spathiphyllum), also known as a sheath leaf, leaf flag or single leaf, on the bookshelf in her living room.
But in the next shot it gets sad: the peace lily has died, its leaves are drooping.

Then suddenly she can be seen again in all her glory;
whether it is the same will not be revealed.
This is now on the living room table while the television is on.
The user has placed a remote control next to her.
It looks as if the plant is watching TV.
With the curious consequence that it seems to be blossoming now.
