(ANSA) - MONTE SANTA MARIA TIBERINA (PERUGIA), DECEMBER 05 - The two communities of Città di Castello and Monte Santa Maria Tiberina are gripped today in grief - even with the proclamation of mourning for the city - on the occasion of the funerals of two of the four young victims of the road accident which occurred in the night between Friday and Saturday in San Giustino Umbro.

Tears and heartbreak accompanied the last farewell to LuanaBallini, the 17-year-old who died together with Nico Dolfi, Gabriele Marghi and Natasha Baldacci in the tragic accident.

The small church of Santa Maria Assunta, in Monte Santa MariaTiberina, where the girl lived, had a hard time containing Luana's relatives, friends and many simple acquaintances.

Two of Luana's friends, at the end of the mass officiated by don Adrian, wanted to remember this "beautiful and cheerful" girl: "Thank you for everything you taught us, we will never forget you, you will always be with us".

But it is the letter written by one of the parents - read by the priest - that touches the deepest strings of the heart: "Doll, so I have always called you. First a sweet little girl and then the girl with eyes as clear as the sky. Today more than ever, I think that heaven and the Father really exist, because for people like you only heaven can exist".

"She was really a golden girl, intelligent and very good at school", says a local elder as he follows the parish priest's homily standing up.

Homily that has its roots in the memory that Don Adrian wanted to share with Luana's parents and with everyone present, namely the loss of his mother.

The priest spoke of "a pain that will never go away", but asked to think "Luana in the safest place in the world, in the arms of the Lord".

A few kilometers from Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, in Riosecco di Città di Castello, the funeral of Nico Dolfi was also held this afternoon.

Here too the funeral was accompanied by the tears of the many people who came to say their last goodbyes.

On the other hand, the funeral of Natasha and Gabriele, the engaged couple from Città di Castello, have yet to be defined.
