(ANSA) - MOSCOW, DECEMBER 05 - The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed that Ukraine has launched drone strikes on two Russian airbases.
This was reported by the Moscow agencies.
In the attacks, the Defense Ministry added, three Russian soldiers were killed and four were wounded.
The Ukrainian forces, the ministry specified, launched attacks with drones against the Dyagilevo air base, in the Ryazan region southeast of Moscow, and that of Engels in the Saratov region.
The Russian Air Defense Forces intercepted the two drones, which were flying at low altitude.
Fragments of the drone, he added, fell and exploded, causing "slight damage" to the exterior of two planes.
