The video begins with dozens of medals scattered among the rubble.
A completely demolished house then appears.
It is that of the family of Elnaz Rekabi, an Iranian professional climber who appeared without her veil during a competition in Seoul last October.
In this undated video, shot by the athlete's brother, Davod Rekabi, a climber himself, we see him in tears in front of the ruins.
The semi-official Iranian agency Tasmi confirmed the destruction of the house, but it claims that it would have taken place before the competition, because it did not have a building permit.
While activists opposed to the Iranian government believe that it is an "act of revenge" against the champion who challenged Tehran.
A declaration under threat?
After defying the dress code imposed by the Islamic Republic, Elnaz Rekabi had disturbingly disappeared for two days.
Before reappearing at Tehran airport, where she had been welcomed as a hero by the Iranian people.
While demonstrations against the morality police have been hitting Iran for several weeks, Elnaz Kerabi's gesture was seen as a sign of solidarity.
But the athlete then apologized publicly, citing "an accident", and not an intentional act.
The independent Iran Wire newspaper claims that Elnaz Rekabi was then arrested by the vice squad and according to the BBC, the Iranian authorities threatened to seize her family's property if she did not make this statement.
