Her mother, Alta Apantenco, was only 21 at the time and continued to search for her daughter for nearly 50 years.

The family's perseverance paid off when they created a profile on a platform specializing in DNA testing.

And there is the revelation: a genetic profile indicates that the dad of the missing little girl would have an unknown grandson.
