Not everything is glamorous:
Disney Channel graduate Hilary Duff admits for the first time that she struggled with severe eating disorders when she was 17. "Because of my career path, I couldn't help but be very thin. It was terrifying," she shared in an interview with an Australian health magazine.
"Today I value my health, and do activities that make me feel strong instead of just improving the outward appearance of my body," said Duff, now a mother of three children, who is married to Matthew Koma.
"Spending time with people who make me feel good, and who share similar views on health and body positivity, helps me sleep and balance my diet," she said.

Her personal trainer, Dominic Leeder, told the magazine that although she is dedicated to her health and fitness, they are not her top priority.
"Fitness and health are very important to her, but her family is everything. When she comes back from work, she only wants to be with them, so every moment counts. We try to incorporate a holistic approach that makes it possible to find the balance and combination of training that works for her," he said.
"After we reached her initial goal, with the help of strength training and building muscle mass, we had to find a new goal in her priorities that we could focus on. It was a struggle, but in the end we decided to keep what she has in combination with her work and life, in full balance," he said.

She played as a child in the movie "Casper Meets Wendy", and burst into the limelight when she starred in the Disney Channel series, "Lizzie McGuire".
In her adult life, she participated in a leading role in the series "How I Met Father".
