(ANSA) - LA MADDALENA, DECEMBER 06 - A 16-year-old boy is hospitalized in intensive care in Sassari after an accident at sea which took place this morning around 6 in La Maddalena.
The young man, together with a 24-year-old friend, was on board a dinghy which crashed on the rocks in front of Punta Tegge.
The Coast Guard of La Maddalena rushed to the scene, alerted by the 16-year-old's mother.
The boy without knowledge was transferred by air ambulance first to Olbia, then to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari, where he is now hospitalized in the intensive care unit with a serious head injury.
