Johnny fans have already reveled in a few never-before-aired songs.

, a folk rock ballad unveiled last January, more than half a century after its creation, the song having been recorded on the sidelines of the film of the same name in 1970.

In May 2020, it was the unreleased title of 1969
La Nuit avec moi
, which was sleeping on tapes, which was unearthed on the occasion of the release of a box set celebrating the year 1969 of the rocker.
These titles were unearthed by Xavier Perrot, artistic director of the Hallyday catalog at Universal, whose drawers are desperately empty of unreleased titles.
Because neither Johnny Hallyday nor his publishers left titles lying around in a drawer.
Because he was not a songwriter, he mostly stuck to the ten songs he needed for his studio albums.
The rocker specialist, however, is optimistic about the discovery of rare bands.
“There are still many years to go.
I hope to discover others”,

Five years after Johnny's death, his work and his life will be the subject of many commemorations, between concerts at the cinema, show boxes, documentaries, beautiful books, exhibitions... To celebrate Johnny's death, M6 will broadcast on December 8 in particular William Karel's documentary,
Johnny by Laeticia,
in which the star's wife recounts "his Johnny":
"I gave 700 hours of images that I had not reviewed"
