(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 06 - A 25-year-old Italian boy, Marco Pannone originally from Fondi, was attacked on the night between Friday and Saturday in London, outside a pub in the Brixton area, in the south of the capital.
The young man was the victim of a beating and is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of King's College Hospital.
Today the newspaper Leggo writes about the story.
The 20-year-old underwent delicate head surgery and is in a coma.
The family was notified via Facebook by a friend of the boy who reported the beating.
The young man's body was found on the ground at the back of the club.
Pannone moved to live in London six years ago.
"We can't get information, it's absurd - says the uncle based on what the newspaper reports -. Was it possible that there weren't any cameras inside or outside the club? Why doesn't anyone help us? We have also been completely abandoned by the Italian institutions.
We asked the Consulate for help, also an interpreter because we don't speak the language".
