(ANSA) - NEW YORK, DECEMBER 05 - Elon Musk's Neuralink is under federal investigation after the deaths of about 1,500 animals since 2018 following tests conducted.
This was reported by the Guardian, underlining that the company's staff complained of tests conducted in haste causing suffering and death of the animals.
The investigation comes as Neuralink is developing a device that can be implanted in the brain to help paralyzed people walk and treat other neurological problems.
The investigation was opened in recent months by the US Department of Agriculture.
