VIDEO. Zelensky on the front, Putin on the bridge… the war of images of the two presidents

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Sloviansk on Tuesday 6 December.

The head of the Kremlin however moved on the Crimean bridge this Monday, December 5.

In a video made public by the Russian government, he can be seen driving a car, crossing part of the infrastructure and then talking to workers about the progress of the work.

The bridge was partially destroyed last October in a truck bomb attack that Russia attributes to Ukraine.

The work had started quickly, and allowed a gradual resumption of traffic.

The Russian authorities are aiming for total repair before the summer of 2023 of this bridge, which is crucial for supplying the Russian troops engaged in Ukraine.
