Through the windows of their classrooms, the pupils of the Chenevière des Arbres middle school, in Ancy-le-Franc (Yonne), have nature within sight.
On one side there are the game-filled forests which slope gently towards the village, on the other, the lime trees, the weeping willow, the oaks and the red-leaved prunus of the splendid park in which the children go to stretch their legs at recess.
