Iran, students protest across the country, beatings and arrests

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 07 - According to posts on social networks, students from various universities in Iran and many faculties in Tehran have organized demonstrations in conjunction with Student Day: the images show attacks by the security forces and " a number of them bloodied", as reported by BBC Persia.

   According to the Student Trade Union Council channel, at the University of Tehran, students were "attacked by the security forces led by Hossein Izdiyar", a young man named Mohammad Shabaati was "kidnapped by the security forces".

Three students of Khwaja Nasiruddin Tusi University were arrested.
