The bad children of the British royal house, Harry and Meghan, have been making headlines since the trailer for the Netflix docu-series about them was released, which is expected to be released on the streaming service tomorrow (Thursday).
The one who stole the show was none other than a blanket.
Yes yes, what you heard.
The blanket in question is of course not a dusty patchwork blanket from the royal Boidem, but a couture blanket from the prestigious fashion house Hermès.
The blanket that is sold under the name - Avalon Throw Blanket, comes in several models, with the cheapest of them being sold for about $1,625 and the price of the most expensive from Amir for $4,750.

Since the first broadcast of the trailer for the series, in which in one of the scenes the blanket is seen wrapping the armchair on which Meghan Markle is sitting and sobbing, an increase of more than 500 percent has been reported in searches for the words Hermès Blanket, and 850 percent in searches for the words Hermès Blanket price on Google.

By the way, the luxurious blanket is not a new item in the collection, as it made its debut in the prestigious fashion house in its initial version already in 1988.
If you were wondering what was the source of inspiration for the geometric pattern that adorns it - it is an homage to blankets that were used to cover horses.
In 2017, Hermes released an upgraded version of the blanket, this time made entirely of cashmere.
On the website today you can find several different models in a variety of sizes and colors, with the classic model being 53 inches by 67 inches and made of 90 percent cashmere, and 10% merino wool.
You can see a clear jump in searches after December 1, with the publication of the trailer, from Google Trends
This is not the first time that the couture blanket has made headlines.
She previously appeared in the movie "Sex and the City", Jennifer Lopez, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Kourtney Cox and Kourtney Kardashian's ten-year-old daughter - Penelope Disick Kardashian - also own the luxury blanket.
