(ANSA) - NEW YORK, DECEMBER 07 - The eight mountains and Immensity are in the line up of the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, which is back in attendance for the first time since 2020: the appointment is between January 19 and 29.
The Eight Mountains by Felix van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeersch, which won the Jury Prize at Cannes 2022, and The Immensity by Emanuela Crialese, both films produced by Fremantle's Wildside, will be presented in the Spotlight section.
Among the themes of the festival, the war in Ukraine, the conflict in Iran and the dangers of technology.
The public, as in the previous editions, will be able to have online access to many of the titles scheduled starting from 24 January.
'20 Days in Mariupol', is one of the most anticipated titles in the documentary section.
Many films and documentaries have stars as protagonists: there is Anne Hathaway in Eileen, Gabriel Garcia Bernalin Cassandro and Daisy Ridley in Sometimes I Think About Dying.
