Cultural figures and politicians say goodbye tonight (Thursday) to the esteemed composer, member of the Beehive band, Yitzhak Kleftar, who passed away at the age of 72.
The country's president, Yitzhak Herzog, wrote: "Yitzhak Clifter, Churchill, the scenery of youth for many of us, the star of 'Hive' and the king of the guitar, a gifted composer and writer. His voice and melodies will accompany us forever. May his memory be blessed."

Prime Minister Yair Lapid quoted one of his songs: "There are types who treat life like an organized trip / But I don't travel / I take my time...", and added: "Goodbye Klepter, and a big thank you for the wonderful soundtrack you left us."
Minister Benny Gantz added: "He left us the assets of an iron sheep, smiles and also a memory of fighting against a serious illness and a strong desire to play and receive the love of the audience, who loved him so much - time and time again. Thank you for the songs, the free imagination and the sound that is so intentional."
The singer and composer Yermi Kaplan wrote: "I feel sorrow and grief. At the same time, I send condolences and hugs to all the relatives and family of Yitzhak Klefter. One of the great guitarists and songwriters who grew up here. Itzik, I enjoyed all the music that came out of you in every way. I will continue to enjoy it even in your absence, but now in every Once I hear you, I will really think about you and not just about the song or the playing."
