But in the music world:

a member of the Beehive band Yitzhak Clifter passed away today (Thursday) at the age of 72. Clifter suffered from many health problems in recent years.

Yitzhak Klifter was born in 1950.

He showed an interest in music from a young age and founded his first group, the Churchills, when he was 15 years old and the group became one of the icons and beloved by guitar enthusiasts in Israel.

The band got its name from Clafter's nickname in high school.

In 1970, he became one of the best-known guitarists in Israel, when he accompanied Eric Einstein in his playing (among other things in the song "How nice you came to the house") and took part in the end of days process alongside Gabi Shushan, Miri Aloni, Eli Magen and Vazehar Levy.

The band recorded a number of temporary hits such as "There is no room for two on an electric pole" and was appreciated but disbanded shortly after its formation.

In 1973, the musician joined the Hive band, which was a huge success.

As part of Hive, he wrote some of the well-known songs in its history, among them "Yo Ya", "She is so beautiful", "That's how she is in the middle" and more.

Even after the breakup of the band, Clafter continued to play with its various members, as well as with Eric Einstein.

After the dissolution he faced financial difficulties, but he played with names like Yonatan Gefen (for his show "Living Room Conversations" he composed the classic "Bedouin Love Song"), Yael Levy and more.

At the end of the 70's he took part in the band Tslim Mi'in alongside Shlomo Yadov and Shem Tov Levy.

Together with them, he recorded iconic songs such as "Lokh Tesman" and "Silil Mi'in".
