Yellow stains due to perspiration on clothes are often recalcitrant to machine washing. Fortunately, there are effective tips for removing them.

Remove yellow sweat stains with ox gall soap

Ox gall soap is a natural stain remover that no stain can resist.

It removes and unclogs the most stubborn stains, including those due to perspiration on clothes.

Its use is very simple :

  • Rub your stain with the wet soap (if it's bread)

  • Leave on for 10 minutes

  • Rinse, or machine wash

  • Repeat the operation if the stain persists

Remove yellow stains due to perspiration with white vinegar

For thick clothes, such as pullovers or vests, with yellow halos due to perspiration, white vinegar is the ideal ally.

Efficient and economical.

Simply dilute the white vinegar in an equal amount of water, and either soak the entire garment in this vinegar water for an hour, or dab the stains with the vinegar water.

Once the stains have faded, all that remains is to put the garment in the washing machine.

Get rid of sweat stains with lemon

Lemon is not only a citrus fruit rich in vitamin C, it is also a fabulous stain remover for delicate textiles.

So don't throw away old lemons!

For white blouses or delicate light-colored garments with sweat stains, it is recommended to use lemon juice diluted in water (an amount of water equal to the amount of lemon used).

Dip the end of a white tea towel in the lemon water and dab the sweat stain.

After leaving the lemon to act for an hour in the open air, all that remains is to wash the garment normally.

Baking soda for perspiration stains

Baking soda is excellent for deodorizing refrigerators, removing mold stains from bathroom tiles or shower curtains, whitening teeth, as well as cleaning the oven.

But not only.

It is also a very good cleanser, especially for removing yellow halos caused by perspiration on clothes.

It is used slightly diluted in water (4 tablespoons of baking soda in ¼ glass of water).

The paste thus formed is applied using a toothbrush on the sweat stain.

We let the baking soda act for a good hour, then we remove the dried paste and rinse the garment.

Soda crystals to the rescue of yellow halos

Soda crystals, similar to small white balls, are very useful for disinfecting, cleaning, degreasing and stain removal.

This is why they are particularly formidable in removing the yellow halos left by perspiration.

For this, you have to take a basin of water in which you pour two bowls of soda crystals.

Then immerse the garment soiled by perspiration in the basin.

Leave the garment in this way to soak for a day.

Perspiration stains dissolve and all that remains is to rinse the garment.

Alcohol at 70° to clean the halos due to perspiration

Wet a clean cloth with 70° alcohol then gently rub the stain left by perspiration.

Leave to act for a few minutes.

Rinse and wash the garment in question normally.

The ideal is to avoid sweating too much by applying a few tricks, such as wearing loose clothing, made of cotton or natural material, and light in color.
