(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, DEC 08 - In Italy, 13.2% of deaths per year are attributable to pollution, especially atmospheric pollution, one of the highest percentages in the EU.
Only Cyprus (16.9%), Malta (14%) and Poland (13.3%) have higher percentages.
These are the data that emerge from the "Zero pollution" report by the EU Environment Agency (EEA) presented today by EU Environment Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevicius.
