The Russian army has launched more than a thousand missiles and rockets in the last 8 attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, says the president of the Ukrainian electric company Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky, as reported by Interfax Ukraine.
"These attacks represent the biggest blow to the power grid humanity has ever seen. More than 1,000 projectiles and missiles were fired at power lines causing severe damage to Ukraine," he said.
"Although we have lost 25% to 30% of consumption compared to the pre-war period, the shortage of power generation capacity is greater and more serious," he added.
