(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 08 - The Russian army has launched more than a thousand missiles and rockets in the last 8 attacks against Ukrainian energy structures, says the president of the Ukrainian electricity company Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky, as reported by Interfax Ukraine.
"These attacks represent the biggest blow to the power grid humanity has ever seen. More than 1,000 shells and missiles were fired into power lines and causing severe damage to Ukraine," he said.
"Although we have lost 25% to 30% of consumption compared to the pre-war period, the shortage of power generation capacity is greater and more serious," he added.
