Suddenly it happened: the black and white domestic cat falls out of an open window on the fourth floor.
She miraculously survives, now donations are being collected for her recovery.
This cat had a true guardian angel: The black and white kitty is only one year old, but has already had to go through a lot.
The house cat named Oreo almost crash-landed.
Finally he fell out of an open window of a house on the fourth floor.
A huge shock for its owners, but the cat miraculously survived.
Apartment cat survives 15 meter fall: Oreo "only" breaks his legs
One day in July, the window in the Woodward family's apartment in Bristol, England, is said to have been cracked open.
It's only ajar, but the clever velvet paw manages to open the window wider to climb out onto the ledge.
But Oreo is an indoor cat only, so not used to being outdoors or at these dizzying heights.
It happened as it had to: The animal crashed and fell more than 15 meters down.

The family doesn't notice at first, but wonders where Oreo has gone.

reports, Mama Melanie is said to have looked everywhere in the apartment for the cat, but there is no trace of her.
Finally she discovers the open window - and down in the garden the poor kitty.
Another cat was luckier and almost fell from the 4th floor, but a man can still prevent this.
The family immediately takes her to a nearby veterinary clinic and learns that the kitten has not only broken both of her front legs, but also severely bruised her chest, mouth and jaw.
Donations on Facebook should help Oreo
Treatment is expensive and the Woodwards don't have that much money.
But then comes the saving news: The association PDSA (“People's Dispensary for Sick Animals”, in German for example: “People's Pharmacy for Sick Animals”) is expected to cover the costs of the treatment.
Finally, the kitty even has to be operated on, with success.

Oreo should already be able to move well again.
In order to support her further recovery, a page has been created on Facebook where other users can donate to the black and white cat.
Finally, some wish her a speedy recovery and that she recovers quickly with her family.
