(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 08 - "We must be careful and be prepared" for the next health crisis.
This was stated by the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, speaking with a video message at the conference for the first year of Hera, the EU Authority for health emergencies.
"The next threats - indicated von der Leyen - are three: resistance to antibiotics, pathogens with high pandemic potential and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear emergencies".
These, the president of the Commission highlighted again, are the priorities "for EU action on cross-border threats to health".
