In a long interview with
The Hollywood Reporter
, Charlize Theron spoke about her childhood, her hard work as an actress and producer, and her daughters, among other things.
She even calls the youngest, August, “
wild”
(which can be translated as “overexcited”).
Do the daughters know their mother's profession?
The actress from

(2003) replied: "In their head, they say to themselves: 'We know that you are working, but we are not 100% sure of what you are doing.'

As for the eldest, Jackson, now a pre-teen, she is indignant at the billboards on which her mother appears: "There are times, like when we walk through an airport and she sees me on a Dior poster, where she says, "Oh my God, you're on a f***ing wall without a t-shirt, mom. It's so embarrassing. Put on a t-shirt!"
And I'm like, "That'll pay for your college!"
(Laughs.) But deep down, like all mothers, I just want to impress them.”
