(ANSA) - AOSTA, DEC 09 - Traffic slowed down from 12.30 at the Mont Blanc tunnel, both on the Italian and French sides, due to a protest by latest generation activists and their transalpine counterparts 'Dernière Rénovation'.
On the Italian square, about ten people slowed down traffic until around 1.30 pm, displaying a yellow 'Last generation' banner.
No Gas.
No Carbon'.
The police intervened on the spot.
The fire brigade was called to break the chains and padlocks with which the militants were bound together.
The activists were then taken away by the agents.
