"The risk scenarios developed and the related alarms" activated by INPS made it possible to identify over 290,000 of the approximately 1,290,000 citizenship income applications received, in the first ten months of 2022, at risk: 240,000, due to lack of the requirement of residence in Italy or for false or omitted declarations relating to the working position of members of the family nucleus, were automatically rejected, before the benefit could be unduly received;
50,000 were suspended and subjected to further checks.
