Drama for Tina Turner, son Ronnie died in Los Angeles

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, DECEMBER 09 - A new drama for Tina Turner: her 62-year-old son Ronnie died at home in Los Angeles.

His wife Aida made the announcement on Instagram.

According to the New York Post website, Turner and her second husband Ike's son had had many health problems, including cancer.

TMZ spoke to police sources who said rescuers had been called to the home of the man who complained of breathing problems.

When the ambulance arrived, however, Ronnie stopped breathing and died.

For the 82-year-old singer it is the second family tragedy: Ronnie's older brother, Craig, had taken his own life in July 2018.
