Helge in top form: he fell in love with this small stage - and gave an unforgettable evening to 180 spectators in the Bayerischer Hof night club.
It's the rehearsal for a tour with 80 concerts - and it quickly becomes clear that the artist takes it seriously.

"We brought a lot of good humor with us," explains the inventor of the combination nonsense and jazz: "And all the instruments that we were able to buy together on the way."

The master personally chose the setting, the small night club in the Bayerischer Hof.
"Close to the people - that's how he likes it," explains Helge's intimate Bodo Oesterling, who for once doesn't appear as a tea butler.
What is also new is that Charly, son of Helge, is not on the drums, but Sascha Barasa Suso from Bremen for the first time, who still has to get used to Schneider's creative volatility.
In this moment a hinted "Für Elise", in the next a dumpling "Feliz Navidad".
Sandro Giampietro plays the guitar as usual, Helge whatever he can get his hands on – sometimes trumpet, sometimes organ, sometimes flute;
the whole thing loosened up by bizarre dance routines by Sergej Gleithmann in a skin-tight onesie.
It's still valid.

Of course it was also a deception that a saxophone solo started the evening.
It gets silly often enough - with tips about the people of Munich ("In the loden coat on the e-scooter"), excursions into metaphysics ("Time is space, space is square - with doors") or a 40-year-old song about the " stupid politicians".
Helge: "It's still valid." Final gag after two hours: "It was a great evening - with or without you." Nothing to add to that.
The 2023 tour can come.
