The Barbour jacket reinvents itself

Chloé and Barbour unite in a capsule collection.
Chloe
Obviously, Barbour takes a liking to collaborations.
After teaming up with Alexa Chung, the British brand has chosen this time to combine its traditional chic with the evanescent style of Chloé.
The hardwearing English waxed cotton jacket (which, let's remember, cut its teeth by riding on the backs of fishermen, then those of the Arctic Monkeys, via the British royal family and Steve McQueen) is revising its standards with ruffles on the shoulders and a more fitted waist.
A winged silhouette for the iconic overcoat which continues its little style revolution accompanied by a few accessories.
Because the high boots, the small bag and the scarf are also part of it.
With, no doubt, the emblematic look of Elizabeth II in mind.

Ba&Sh
Upcycled or second-hand, second-hand gifts promise to be popular under the Christmas tree.
Proof if needed: the myriad of well-established brands that are always playing the second-hand card a little more.
This is the case of Ba&sh which has just joined those investing in the field.
First, by transforming one of its Parisian boutiques into a dedicated pop-up for the holidays.
The Parisian label notably offers pieces from its previous collections at very low prices.
And the place also offers the possibility of picking up clothes from the brand.
The latter, exchanged for vouchers, will be resold later on the site, via a new tab, also dedicated to second-hand.
7-9 rue de Charonne 75011 Paris. Until December 14.

French skier Richard Permin, for the Moncler Fall-Winter 2022 collection. Moncler
Monestier-de-Clermont, 1952. With the firm intention of providing suitable clothing for mountaineers, René Ramillon and André Vincent founded the Moncler brand, merging the first letters of the two names of their town.
With its famous down jackets, but also technical innovations such as bindings, the brand based in Grenoble participates in the development of the ski industry in Isère.
And equips French skiers, notably at the 1968 Olympics. After its acquisition in 2003 by the Italian Remo Ruffini, the continuation of Moncler's transalpine adventures took a fashionable turn.
Far from being cut off from its roots, the company perpetuates this tradition of performance clothing in its “Grenoble” line.
A collection which, for fall-winter 2022, comes to life on video with the French skier Richard Permin.
The circle is complete.
