The Interior Ministry - ministry sources said - yesterday gave the green light for NGO ships to dock because the approaching bad weather and sea conditions would soon expose the people on board to risks.
The NGOs, as already happened previously, the sources continue, "would have taken from it a pretext to declare a state of emergency on board and would thus have entered the ports of Sicily, whose reception centers are already congested with presences, remaining however in proximity of their operational scenarios".
