Cookies, cakes and other pastries leave their mark on the baking tray.
But with the right home remedies, burnt-in stains can be quickly removed.
Stubborn incrustations on the baking sheet mainly occur if it was not cleaned thoroughly enough after the last baking action or a hearty oven dish.
At temperatures around 200 degrees Celsius, old fat spatters literally burn in.
But dough and other leftovers are also difficult to remove once they have come into contact with the hot tray.
Before you reach for harsh cleaning agents or scrub for hours, try tried and tested home remedies.
Used correctly, baking powder or salt, for example, will remove even stubborn dirt in no time and the baking tray will be sparkling clean again, almost like the first day.
Things often go wrong when baking cookies.
However, the baking sheet can be easily cleaned with household products.

1. Clean baking sheet with baking soda
Almost everyone who regularly bakes cakes or biscuits has baking powder in their house.
While the baking ingredient in the dough ensures an airy, fluffy consistency, the baking tray can be cleaned wonderfully with it after baking.
Simply dissolve a packet of baking soda in water and soak the baking sheet in it for a while.
Then wipe it off with a sponge – the dirt should now be gone.

2. Salt
For more stubborn incrustations, salt has proven to be a real miracle cure:
Fill the baking sheet with salt until the bottom is lightly covered.
Put in the oven at around 50 degrees.
Now wait until the salt turns brown.
The whole thing takes about 30 to 60 minutes.
Then remove the baking sheet from the oven and let it cool down.
You should now be able to remove the salt and any incrustations.
Then clean the sheet metal with water and a little washing-up liquid – done!

3. Lemon against burnt on the baking sheet
Got some lemon left over from baking?
Then simply use the versatile fruit to clean your baking tray afterwards: Mix the juice of one lemon with a little water and pour it onto the baking tray.
Put the whole thing in the oven at around 120 degrees and wait until the water starts to evaporate.
Then take it out, let it cool down and wipe off the dirt with a sponge or cloth.
Incidentally, lemons, baking powder and salt can also be used wonderfully to clean the oven and make it shine again.
