The eldest son of Princess Stephanie of Monaco organized a small party to reveal the sex of his first child, alongside his wife Marie Chevallier.

They too gave in to the "baby shower"... A few days ago, we learned that Louis Ducruet, the son of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and Daniel Ducruet, and his wife Marie Chevallier were expecting their first child.

The sex of the baby was then still a mystery.

But this Sunday, December 11, the couple announced the news by sharing photos and videos of their “

gender reveal party

”, a party to reveal the sex of their baby to guests.

Among them, her sisters Pauline Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb, and of course the future grandmother Stéphanie de Monaco.

For the occasion, Marie Ducruet wore a loose powder beige dress, while her husband had opted for beige pants and a white shirt.

The couple's beloved dog, named Pancake, had also put on his finest costume: a tuxedo-effect breastplate and a pink bow tie.

And it was none other than the animal that revealed the sex of the child to the assembly by running up with… pink balloons attached to the collar.

It is therefore a girl that the Grimaldi clan will soon welcome.

A birth planned for 2023

On November 23, Louis and Marie Ducruet announced they were expecting their first child in an Instagram post, revealing their dog's bandana.

It read: “Soon big brother”.

“An adventure is about to begin,” wrote the 30-year-old heir, 15th in the line of succession to the Monegasque throne.

This new birth within the princely family of Monaco is expected in the first half of 2023, nearly four years after their marriage, in front of 200 guests.
