A 67-year-old man is dying after being beaten by a bully in Sottomarina di Chioggia, during an argument on the stairs of an apartment building.
In reality a non-existent quarrel, if not in the idea of the violent, a 26-year-old boy, who experienced the fact that the man, on going out the door, had involuntarily bumped his arm as an offense.
The latter was going with a friend to a pizzeria.
The two were going down the stairs and just wanted to go through the door, which however was partially blocked by the bully himself, who was talking to a peer.
The young man asked the old man to be right about the little push, demanding an apology.
The 67-year-old's friend tried to calm the situation: "she didn't do it on purpose, and then nothing happened," she said to the boy.
Which, however,
hearing no response from the man, and seeing that he was moving away, he caught up with him in the street and hit him with a few slaps, one of which knocked him to the ground.
In the fall he hit his head heavily on the asphalt and never recovered.
Now he is hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Mestre, in conditions that leave no hope.
In the evening it was learned that the operations and the waiting period to determine his brain death had begun.
