The EU Council has approved a new round of sanctions on Iran both for the crackdown on peaceful demonstrations and for the role of assisting Russia in the war on Ukraine.
In the first case, it added 20 individuals and one entity to the list of persons subject to restrictive measures under Iran's human rights sanctions regime;
in the second he added four people and four entities.
