To attend the event, Katie Holmes gave in to the Y2K (read: 2000s) trend.
Her frayed straight jeans, combined with a navy blue strapless mini dress, revived a typical silhouette of this decade on the red carpets (we think in particular of Lindsay Lohan or Mila Kunis).
Side shoes, exit the high heels, the actress of 43 years has opted for a pair of black New Balance.
An outfit that gives Katie Holmes the air of Joey Potter, a role that launched her career in 1998 in the
Dawson series,
and that breaks free from the style in which the actress has been exemplifying for several years now.
