The Association of Hospital Administrators contacted the Director General of the Ministry of Health Prof. Nachman Ash and asked for a warning that the hospitals are not protected against a cyber attack. The administrators refer to the attempted attack in Shaare Zedek and the cyber attack that hit the Hillel Yaffe Hospital about a year ago and warn: "Despite the threat to all of us that will undoubtedly occur , significant resources are not allocated to build an effective defense system of the health system against these attacks.

The expectation that the hospitals will be able to allocate resources from their depleted sources is unreasonable and in fact constitutes a 'Bat Yana' policy," warn 10 government hospital managers who signed the letter.
