The Iranian judiciary said it had handed down death sentences to 11 people involved in the protests.
Activists say around a dozen other people were sentenced to death.
Thousands of people have been arrested since 16 September when the protests erupted.
So far two young men have been executed, Mohsen Shekari was hanged on December 8 and Majidreza Rahnavard yesterday: both 23 years old, were executed on charges of "moharebeh", "enmity against God" according to Iranian Islamic sharia.
