You don't treat yourself to a bag of chips every day.
But what if it is only half full?
An Aldi customer vented his anger on Facebook.
Munich – Unhealthy food tastes good – unfortunately that is all too often the case.
In this case, however, consumers did not get the satisfaction they had hoped for from Aldi chips.
The reason: there were simply not enough.
The problem wasn't that he devoured the pack in a hurry and still couldn't get enough.
No - the chip bag was only half full from the start.
The customer posted a photo of it on Facebook.
"Just opened and only half full?"
He wrote: "Aldi Süd, aren't you serious, just opened up and only half filled?"
Of course, it is impossible to determine whether the customer actually opened the snack pack in exactly this condition.
At least other Facebook users believe him and comment diligently.
"Aldi is just concerned about your health," writes an observer - so the fewer chips there are, the less bad it is for the user's body.
Another has a more practical approach: “Have you weighed how much is really in it, it would be interesting” – to which the Aldi customer denies.
"This is the 'permitted protective atmosphere'"
Another Facebook user does not understand why the customer turns to the discounter: "What can Aldi do about it?
They don't make it, they just sell it.
Do you have to complain to the manufacturer?"

Another commentator, however, has an attempt at an explanation: “That is the 'permitted protective atmosphere'.
I only saw it on a consumer show.
So that the chips don't break."
But one thing has not been handed down: whether the chips tasted good at all.
Or whether the Aldi customer, in all his anger, forgot to try them at all.
