Clear silicone phone cases will yellow over time and become unsightly.
However, the yellow discolouration can be removed with a household remedy.
Mobile phone cases made of silicone protect the smartphone from damage and scratches.
Unfortunately, the transparent protective covers yellow quite quickly and then become unsightly.
The yellow discoloration is caused by greasy fingers, dirt and sweat.
However, the cover does not have to be replaced with a new one for a long time.
That would not only cost money, but also pollute the environment.
Silicone can also be cleaned with a simple household remedy: baking soda.

Pour water into a bowl.
It should be large enough that the phone case later fits completely in.
Pour a packet of baking soda into the water and stir.
Now place the protective cover in the baking soda and water mixture so that it is completely covered by the liquid and let it soak for two hours.
Then remove the mobile phone case and rinse with clear water, dry - done!
The yellowing should now have disappeared and you can look forward to a hygienic and wonderfully transparent mobile phone case.
