PNA and ANSA

have signed an important collaboration agreement which provides for the availability and exchange of content that can be used on their respective information platforms.

In this way, the offer of international information is enhanced for the subscribers and customers of the two Agencies: the agreement is in fact based on the possibility for the partners to use their respective information services for editorial use and to develop joint commercial offers to support communication of institutions and companies of the respective countries.

    "I greet with satisfaction the signing of the agreement between ANSA and the Philippine PNA agency, the ceremony of which I witnessed online yesterday. I am sure that it will contribute to further strengthening, and in such an important sector as that of information, the ties between the two countries coinciding, moreover, this year with the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations. I express my congratulations to ANSA and my fervent wishes for a fruitful collaboration with the PNA for many years to come "said the Italian ambassador in Manila

Mauro Clemente

, who witnessed the signing of the collaboration between the two agencies remotely.

    For his part, the director of PNA

Raymond Robert Burgos

, present at the signing of the agreement via video link, said that "this agreement strengthens the PNA's ties abroad and brings the Philippines closer to another part of the world where many Filipinos work. This is an important development with regards to relations of the PNA with foreign news agencies".

    PNA executive director

Demetrio Pisco

stressed that the agency "has 80 offices throughout the Philippines and supplies news to national newspapers and radio stations as well as Filipino-language newspapers in the US, New York and Los Angeles";

he therefore hoped that "the signing of this agreement will also increase the flow of information on the Philippines abroad,

    Satisfaction with the signing of the agreement was expressed by the CEO of ANSA

Stefano De Alessandri

, who underlined the importance of "exchanging news with PNA and the possibility of having a broader view of what is happening in the two countries. The second step of the agreement concerns the possibility of developing commercial relations with the Philippines: this means that Italian customers, public and private companies, interested in being more present in the Philippines and vice versa will be part of this agreement".
