The major festivals have barely unveiled their programming for the summer of 2023 when they are already working on their dates for 2024. Some are even already in a position to announce them.
And for good reason, the holding of the Olympic Games in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024, then the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8 has a direct implication on their organization which it even threatened for a time.
