For many consumers, tangerines are one of the must-haves of the Christmas season.
With two tricks, they can be peeled in just a few seconds.

There are a few tricks you can use to identify fresh tangerines in the supermarket.
However, the popular fruit has one disadvantage: peeling is often more difficult and time-consuming than desired.
However, time can be saved with two tricks, as RUHR24 reveals.

To peel the tangerine, many consumers simply start peeling and tear off the peel in a criss-cross pattern.
A different approach saves a lot of time (more service news at RUHR24).

, the tangerine is
first cut in half, so that you end up holding two halves of the fruit in your hand.
The shell of the two halves can then be turned inside out.
The pulp should be divided into pieces of equal size and be easy to remove from the skin.
Alternatively, there is a second trick to peel the tangerines quickly and easily.
Fruit lovers only need a knife for this life hack.
Peeling tangerines: Consumers can save themselves annoying peeling

, with the second trick, the two ends of the tangerine are first cut off before the fruit is peeled.
Both the upper and lower parts are thus exposed, while a large strip of shell remains in between.
After that, this peel has to be scratched long ago and the tangerines have to be rolled apart.
The pulp is easily removed.
However, consumers should under no circumstances throw away the peel of the tangerine, because it can be used in many ways – both in the kitchen and in the bathroom.
