(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 14 - The majority and the government are considering easing the squeeze on pension revaluations by raising the threshold for 100% indexed checks from 4 to 5 times the minimum.
The theme was on the table at the afternoon meeting.
"We are carefully evaluating the Cisl proposal - says Alessandro Cattaneo, group leader of Fi in the Chamber - there is attention from the entire majority".
Furthermore, for Forza Italia the increase in minimum pensions to 600 euros for those aged 75 and over and the reduction of contributions "at least 8 thousand euros" on the hiring of the under 35s are "essential", said the group leader of FI in the Budget Committee, Roberto Pella, explaining the position illustrated in the majority meeting together with the blue group leader in the Chamber Alessandro Cattaneo, clarifying that this is what was requested by Silvio Berlusconi.
Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti, added Pella, "he is committed to finding the resources".
